Alternate fast intervals with short, hard climbs and refuel between! Riders choose movements and intensity; you coach them to take advantage of each opportunity to test themselves without fear – they are guaranteed recovery time to be ready for the next challenge. For the fast flats (FF), they go fast and hard; recover, then coach them to establish hard intensity, then crank up to go harder (noted as “er” on the profile), then hardest (noted as “est”) effort they can hold for the duration.
