One of my regular riders asked me to do my Tom Petty Interval ride from two years ago to mark his passing, to which I said hell yes. I was thrilled to ride this ride again. It’s a simple, but not easy, strength challenge featuring six Tom Petty songs and one of my favorite rock remixes – the Doors Roadhouse Blues, Crystal Method remix.
I coach the refuel time to about 2:00 then invite riders to find a higher end of moderate effort to prep for the next challenge for the remainder of the time. The music is not a one-to-one match. Just ride each “Challenge Time” and it will work out. Note that this is an iTunes playlist. When I build it in Spotify you don’t get the songs I own so you’ll have to build this one if your using Spotify.
