This is a freestyle speed ride where each challenge focuses on establishing a base RPM and then increase speed at short increments. Riders pick their goals for how much faster and how much harder. For the song Breathe, which is a great Eric Prydz remix, the challenge to speed it up is with a heavier gear so if they need to lighten the load along the way (it’s over 7:00) they have that option, but I encouraged them to stay with it and if their goal is to increase speed by just 1-2 RPMs that’s good enough!
There are two additional remixes that I love on this playlist – Praise You and Days Go By, and kicking it all off is Miki Howard’s version of Aretha Franklin’s Until You Come Back to Me. SO good!
