This one speaks for itself! Three 12:00 threshold intervals, 60-80 RPMs, starting below threshold, hitting threshold, then going over threshold for 30 seconds out of the saddle. Riders are in the saddle for the below threshold efforts and the first duration of at threshold efforts. They’re out of the saddle for the second at threshold effort and the 30 second push over threshold. Each duration increases by :30 increments except for the final 30 second push over threshold.
This is a challenging ride so be sure to coach your riders to take advantage of the below threshold increments to recapture some energy!
